Membangun Karakter Peserta Didik Sekolah Dasar Melalui Pendidikan Kepramukaan
Abstract
This study aims to explore the effectiveness of scouting activities in shaping the character of students at SD Negeri 1 Sungai Benai. The research methods used include observation and literature study. The results showed that scouting activities have a role in shaping student character, including scout values, responsibility, and creativity. Activities such as camps, community service projects, and group games become effective means of developing students' social skills and responsibilities. In addition, scouting activities also create an environment that supports the development of students' creativity through habituation of creative thinking, art activities, and collaboration in teams. The uniqueness of this study lies in its focus on the effectiveness of scouting activities in shaping the character and creativity of students at the elementary school level. The results of this study make an important contribution to the development of curriculum and learning strategies oriented towards character building and creativity development of students in elementary schools
