Abstract

This research is motivated by learning in formal education (school) today is still low absorption
of students. This can be seen from the average learning outcomes of students who are always very
concerned. This achievement is certainly the result of learning conditions that are still conventional
and do not touch the realm of the dimensions of the students themselves, namely how to actually learn
(learning to learn). The purpose of this PTK-based research is to obtain data on the use of the Index
Card Match method to improve learning outcomes skills in IVA class students of PAI subjects on
Welcoming the Age of Baligh at SDN Magetan 2.
Based on the analysis of test results and observations, it is concluded that there is an increase
in learning activities and student activities so that the skills of students increase every cycle.
Based on the recapitulation of data from the written test results of cycle I and cycle II, it can be
explained that the learning achievement of PAI and BP subjects on welcoming the age of puberty
continues to increase in each cycle. The increase in learning outcomes also increased from
completeness in the initial condition of 30.76% or 6 students increased to 61.54% or 11 students and
92.31% or 17 students in the last cycle with a classical average score of 46.15 in the initial condition
increased to 61.54 in the first cycle and 77.24 in the second cycle. From the results obtained, research
using the application of the Index Card Match method in fourth grade students of SDN Magetan 2 can
significantly improve student learning achievement.
