THE CONCEPT OF INTELLIGENCE IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF ISLAMIC EDUCATIONAL THOUGHT

Abstract

In terms of intelligence, we know a lot about various concepts that discuss intelligence, including the concept proposed by Alfred Binet in his various theories, which led to the discovery of a concept that is considered to be able to interpret a person's intelligence ability at a certain standard level, namely the theory of Intelligent Quotient (IQ).  Apart from IQ, there is also the theory of emotional quotient (EQ), which is a person's ability to understand, control, evaluate, and express emotions. Therefore, this article will discuss the Islamic educational perspective on human intelligence after various theories have been put forward, as well as the relationship between IQ, EQ, SQ, and TQ according to the Islamic educational perspective
